CHAS Accreditation
We gained CHAS accreditation in 2017 having totally reviewed and renewed our staff training and Health and Safety management policies.
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is one of the founding members of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) and is recognised by clients and other organisations including the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) as being a Stage 1 Approved Health and Safety Assessment Scheme.
The purpose of the CHAS Accreditation Scheme is to simplify the contractor assessment and pre-qualification process by adopting a common standard in accordance with the competence assessment requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
This allows clients to have an assurance that all CHAS Accredited Contractors have been assessed to a minimum common Health and Safety Standard.
SSAIB Security Certification
Advance Security is certified by SSAIB for all CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm system installations.
The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) is the leading certification body for organisations providing security systems and services.
SSAIB is a Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved certification body and represents the greatest number of security service providers in the sector – making certification a mark of excellence.
SSAIB relies upon good working relationships with the influential groups within the sectors in which they operate, not least the Police, Fire services, insurers and industrial and commercial clients. Their schemes comply with all Police policies (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic) and insurers.
